What it covers

Fifteen questions across the five layers I look at professionally:

Data quality

Duplicates, decay, ownership gaps, and whether your CRM would hold up to a GDPR question.

Pipeline & process

Do deals move through defined stages with real entry and exit criteria, or is the pipeline a list of hopes?

Reporting & visibility

Does your board pack come straight from the CRM, or from an evening of spreadsheet wrangling?

Automation & tooling

Is routine work done by the system, or is your team doing robot work by hand?

Adoption & alignment

Does the team actually live in the CRM, and do sales and marketing share one dictionary?

What you get back

A score out of 100, on screen the moment you answer the last question, with a layer-by-layer breakdown showing where you're solid and where you're leaking.

If you'd like it in writing, leave your email and I'll send your full results plus the three fixes worth doing first, in order. One useful email, no drip sequence. If not, no email address ever changes hands, and you've still got something genuinely useful.

This tool is also a little demonstration

I design, build and run software tools that generate commercial pipeline. That's an easy thing to claim, so here's some proof: I built a suite of free calculators for technical teams that brings qualified conversations in every month. I scoped the logic, drove the build, and set up the part of the site that houses them.

This health check is the same idea pointed at commercial systems, built on my own stack. If you're wondering whether I can bridge the engineering and sales worlds, you're using the answer right now.

Why it's free

The health check is the opening questions of my audit, given away. If your score is healthy, you've spent three minutes and gained a bit of peace of mind. If it isn't, you'll know exactly what to look at, and you can decide with numbers in front of you rather than a sales pitch.

Worth doing sooner rather than later, too: a leaky pipeline quietly costs you every quarter you leave it, and the leaks are cheaper to fix once you can see them.

How the audit works →

Fair questions

Do I need to give my email address?

No. Your score and breakdown appear on screen as soon as you finish. Email only comes into it if you want the fix-first list sent to you in writing, and even then it's one email, not a drip sequence.

Which CRM does it apply to?

Any of them. The questions are about discipline and design, not tool features. HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics, Zoho, or the spreadsheet you've been meaning to replace.

Is it actually useful, or just a sales funnel?

Both, honestly, and I'd rather say so. The results stand on their own, and if they prompt a conversation, that's a happy bonus for both of us.

How does it compare to a paid audit?

It's a friendly first look rather than a deep dive. It'll tell you where to focus; a full diagnostic then goes in properly. Plenty of people run the health check and take it no further, and that's completely fine.
